Kelly Stout Sanchez joined the firm in 2010 after graduating from the University of New Mexico School of Law where she was recognized for her outstanding contribution to the law school. In 2016, Kelly became a shareholder and the firm changed its name to Martinez, Hart, Thompson & Sanchez, P.C.

Kelly’s practice focuses primarily on representing injured children and victims of crime. As a mother, Kelly understands the heartbreak and anguish that parents go through when their child has been hurt and their safety was compromised. Through the civil justice system, Kelly works hard to make New Mexico a safer place for our children in holding people, corporations, and the government accountable for preventable injuries. Kelly is a sustaining member of the National Crime Victims Bar Association (NCVBA) and has presented at seminars dedicated to civil remedies for crime victims.

In addition to pushing for positive change through her work at Martinez, Hart, Thompson & Sanchez, P.C., Kelly spends a significant amount of her free time in service to her community. She has been a youth gymnastics coach for over 15 years and also teaches a gymnastics class for children with special needs. Kelly dedicates significant time to raising donations for the Albuquerque Public Schools Title I Homeless Project and is committed to assisting the New Mexico Child Abuse Prevention Partnership to end child abuse in New Mexico.
